Description
Etna Lava Tubes provides an itinerary in stages in which alternate movements in car and short explorations on foot. Inside the Etna Park and on board our vehicles we will move from the south side to the east side to explore places of great natural and geological interest, we will visit enchanting lunar landscapes and historical lava flows that have threatened entire countries. We will reach the edge of ancient craters on which we can walk and observe the different colors of the plant species and the unique landscapes of the Etna Park. The second part of the itinerary includes entry into three different volcanic caves (lava tubes) that we will explore in total safety with helmets and light caving. You will experience the thrill of descending into the depths of the volcano to know the geological and morphological characteristics. Our itineraries are the result of experience and passion for Etna. Our nature guides and geologists will show you the naturalistic and volcanological aspects of the highest active volcano in Europe, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013.
