Description
Etna Summit provides the exploration of the summit area of Etna reached first by our vehicles and after by cable car. We will cross places of great naturalistic and geological interest, we will visit enchanting lunar landscapes and historical lava flows that have threatened entire countries. With our vehicles we will arrive first at an altitude of 2000 meters where we expect the ascent by cable car up to an altitude of 2500 meters. From here you can continue with UNIMOG and trekking with mountain guide up to the maximum altitude to admire the summit craters. You will discover the different colors of the plant species and the unique landscapes of the Etna Park. You will also experience the thrill of descending into the depths of the volcano and exploring a cave of lava flow equipped with helmets and light caving, to know the geological and morphological characteristics. We will end with a tasting of local products on the farm. Our itineraries are the result of experience and passion for Etna. Our nature guides and geologists will show you the naturalistic and volcanological aspects of the highest active volcano in Europe, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013.
