Description
Etna & Taormina provides an itinerary in stages in which alternate trip by car and short explorations on foot. Inside the Etna Park and on board our vehicles we will move from the south side to the east side to explore places of great natural and geological interest, we will visit enchanting lunar landscapes and historical lava flows that have threatened entire countries. We will reach the edge of ancient craters and in front of the majestic Valle del Bove. You will discover the different colors of the plant species and the unique landscapes of the Etna Park. You will also experience the thrill of descending into the depths of the volcano and exploring a cave of lava flow equipped with helmets and light caving, to know the geological and morphological characteristics. After our exploration on the volcano, we will move towards Taormina, the "Pearl of the Ionian", where you can walk along the main street "Corso Umberto" that leads to the Greek Theatre, to do some shopping and go to the most interesting sites such as Piazza Duomo and Palazzo Corvaja. The guide will wait for you at the pick-up point at the end of your walk. An itinerary that links nature and culture, volcano and art to get to know Sicily at 360.
