Description
Etna Wine Tour provides an itinerary in stages in which alternate trip by car and short explorations on foot. Inside the Etna Park and on board our vehicles we will move from the south side to the east side to explore places of great natural and geological interest, we will visit enchanting lunar landscapes and historical lava flows that have threatened entire countries. We will reach the edge of ancient craters and in front of the majestic Valle del Bove. You will discover the different colors of the plant species and the unique landscapes of the Etna Park. You will also experience the thrill of descending into the depths of the volcano and exploring a cave of lava flow equipped with helmets and light caving, to know the geological and morphological characteristics. Once we have finished our exploration of the volcano, we will move to the southside towards a wonderful vineyard where you can walk among the rows, visit the underground cellar and taste the main varieties of Etna wine together with some typical Sicilian products. Our itineraries are the result of experience and passion for Etna. Our nature guides and geologists will show you the naturalistic and volcanological aspects of the highest active volcano in Europe, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013.
